Thursday Theater: Two Dynamic Films to Start Off 2026

Thursday Theater Downton Abbey and Eleanor the Great

Join us in January for Thursday Theater! We'll be showing two hit films on the big screen in the McAllaster Room.  Feel free to bring a small snack or drink if you would like.

First up at 2:00, is Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.  Follow the Crawley family and their staff as they enter the 1930s. When Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal and the family faces financial trouble, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future. (Rated PG. Run Time: 2h 3m)

Then at 6:00, Eleanor the Great stars June Squibb (Thelma) as a ninety-year-old woman who moves in with her daughter after the death of her best friend. Feeling isolated, Eleanor tells a lie that quickly grows out of hand, threatening her new friendship with a nineteen-year-old student. (Rated PG-13. Run time: 1h 38m)
